Pink papers is the highest you can obtain in Germany. They are "preferred" breedings.  Petra von der Teufelsbrucke is from old  Great bloodlines and she is pink papered as is Billy.  Germany is where the world famous "pink pedigrees" come from. A puppy born in Germany will receive "pink papers" only if both parents have gone through the Breed Survey system.

Just to piggy-back off of what Kimmy already posted,,,
Yes, Pink-Papers are the highest and most sought after papers in Germany,, notice tho ALL animals on the pedigree MUST have a working title, Sch 1 ect, in order for the papers to be  Pink.

Thank you!!!  I want to keep the learning going on this.  I think that everyone should pull thier pedigrees out and look at the Vertical AND Horizontal dogs...Littermates and what they produced and became.  It will open your eyes about "top" dogs and what is produced in the box.

In American we have titles that are not the same as Europe but are trained just as hard.  The CD is on level with BH, then it goes to the CDX, UD, UDX, and OTCH.  That is obedience levels only some is done with nothing more then hand signals, gestures, and one word commands all off leash.  The Tracking here is also different.  You have the TD, TDX and I am not sure but I think there is one more level.  You do have the WDS 1, 2, and 3 but they are done thru the mother club and AKC and are kinda rare right now.  I hope to see them out soon.  They have the RN, RA, RAE which are Rally done with commands on signs on and off leash.  Agility- Jumper Agility, and Speed with titles from NA to MACH 1-12 ish.  Flyball, Herding, Carting, Lure coursing, SAR Dogs, Theraphy, Service dogs.

The Rottweiler is a Breed that has proven itself in ALL of the different events except ground dog hunting....hehehe...if they could fit in the tiny holes then I'm SURE they would be happy to do that too.
